Birdy Business Update

Birdy Business Update

Primary 7 have counted their takings from the trade event on Friday 17th March which totalled to an amazing £1030.10!!   Out of the £1030.10 the children have to pay back their loan, deduct the cost of raw materials and have kindly agreed to make a 10% donation of their profits towards Young Enterprise (a charity).  This leaves the children with a fantastic profit of £706.59 which they will put towards a well deserved ‘tweet’ for themselves.  Primary 7, we are so proud of you for the way you conducted yourselves on Friday, how you interacted with the general public and also for the way you represented Moorfields Primary School.  You were a credit and a pleasure to take to the trade event on Friday.  A massive well done too for selling every single product we took to the trade event and half an hour earlier than when we were to cease trading.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported Primary 7 during their enterprise venture, who bought products, donated or expressed an interest in Birdy Business.  A special mention to Ballymena Blinds, Homestyle Interiors, Village Blinds and Shutters, Jim Walker Hair Studio and W B Woodcraft for all their donations to Birdy Business.  Without your donations Primary 7 would not have made the profit they did.  Your kindness is very much appreciated.
